Apple is coming out with a virtual reality headset that is designed to create an user-friendly spatial computing system. It will combine digital content with the actual space a person is in. A person will be able to control it by just using their eyes, hands, and voice. Apple has been working on and developing this technology for over a decade and it is said to be available early next year at a price of $3,499.

It contains more than a dozen cameras and sensors to map out the space around the user and to keep track of hand and eye movements. Apple Vision Pro can take 3D photos and videos using a built-in camera that's powered by tapping on the top button of the device. Apple says that users can “capture videos and photos in 3D and then relive those memories like never before.” Vision Pro will also show existing photos and videos on a large scale, making them more realistic. This device makes content able to be displayed in the space around the person and be able to position apps and windows in mid-air. It will also be made able to connect the headset to a computer and use the headset as a display for the computer. 

The device is said to have more pixels than a 4K TV and two of the cameras transmit more than a billion pixels per second to the display to represent the real world around the person. The other cameras are used for head tracking, hand tracking, and real-time 3D mapping. Apple Vision Pro customers who wear glasses will even be able to order inserts with their prescription that will attach magnetically to the displays inside the headset. The cameras and LED lights inside the Vision Pro are used for a security feature called Optic ID. Optic ID is similar to Touch ID or Face ID, but it uses iris scanning instead of a facial scan or a fingerprint scan.

With the external battery pack that it comes with, the Vision Pro can run for approximately two hours, but when plugged into a power adapter, the Vision Pro can run all day. Apple considered the concept of virtual reality and took it to a whole new level. Apple Vision Pro will create a huge impact and cause lots of changes in the technology world.
