Hudsonville hosts a variety of different students but a certain group ascends above the rest. Mai Sanour is a trilingual student who can fluently speak Arabic and English while she is currently enrolled in Spanish at Hudsonville. Mai Sanour sports a portfolio of many interests having numerous advanced placement courses, science olympiad, green team, and a calling in the arts.

Mai is currently a Junior and next year plans to join the careerline tech center for their pre dental program, although she is unsure of what she plans to pursue for further education. Although Mai is only bilingual as of now, she also plans to pursue advanced placement Spanish her Senior year.

Not only does Mai Sanour give back to the school through her extracurricular activities, she strives for better as she volunteers every Sunday at a local program for the youth. 

Even though Mai spends most of the time outside of the classroom she does spend some of her time deep in the books. Not only because of her experience in AP Literature, Mai has a large strength in her ability to create. Mai is a talented artist and has had many featured works with some even being present throughout the school and even the yearbook!

Talented artists like Mai Sanour have laid the pathway that is leading to the addition of AP Art next year. And without students like this Hudsonville would not be what it was.
